Q: Differentiate between Striated, unstriated and Cardiac muscles on the basis of their structure and location in the body?
Ans: Striated---- Cells are cylindrical, not branched, multi nucleate. Alternate light and dark band present. Its end are blunt.
Location : present in our body part such as hand, leg, tongue etc.
Unstriated--- Cells are long, not branched, uni nucleate, without any band and its end are tapering.
Location : It controls the movement of food in alimentary canal, contraction
and relaxation of blood vessels.
Cardiac Muscle ----- Cells are cylindrical, branched, uni nucleate, in which faint band are present. Its end are flat and wavy.
Location : Muscles control the contraction and relaxation of the heart.
